		<description>I think that would be radiation causing swelling in the brain. They give a person steroids for that.

Any brain cancer/rads treatment can cause swelling and person will be given steroids for it.

Yeah, it&#039;s not fluid and they won&#039;t drill a hole in the skull for swelling.</description>

		<description>I guess it would depend on how serious the swelling is. If the doctor can&#039;t control it with drugs, then it&#039;s possible to drill a hole in the skull to relieve the pressure. How serious is the cancer? That would determine how the doctor would approach the situation. Good luck.</description>

		<description>I agree with April. My surgery radiation chemo all caused swelling and steroids were given to bring the swelling down. Avastin also helped swelling . I&#039;ve nev heard of fluid on the brain</description>

		<description>The doctors are right, because if the fluid were drained, it would come back, and the effort would be terribly expensive and painful to her.  Sometimes it&#039;s best to leave things to God, because she&#039;s going to leave this life no matter what.</description>
