They give a person steroids for that. Any brain cancer/rads treatment can cause swelling and person will be given steroids for it. If the doctor can't control it with drugs, then it's possible to drill a hole in the skull to relieve the pressure. How serious is the cancer? My surgery radiation chemo all caused swelling and steroids were given to bring the swelling down. Avastin also helped swelling . I've nev heard of fluid on the brain I agree with April.
