Mine:

The White Feather—

My wife had just gotten her breast cancer diagnosis and I was going to walk up to the clinic from work for one of her many appointments she had scheduled for that day. I was pretty upset, and scared for my wife. I always think of her as answered prayers when she came into my life and I was afraid and feared the worse. So, as I was leaving work I prayed with my whole heart and soul to God, please take care of my wife and let her live, and tears were coming down my cheeks.

I told God that I did not know if he was there, mostly because I prayed that the tests would come back negative and instead it was positive. I then asked him to put a feather on the ground as a sign he was listening to my prayer. I know we are supposed to walk by faith, but faith alone was not doing it for me, I needed proof that he was listening. I then asked for a sign, I prayed for a feather so that I could pick it up and keep it as a reminder that he was listening and answering my prayers.

I took two steps and there was a white feather on the ground, tears in my eyes I picked it up. And I saw one on every block I walked up to the hospital. Needless to say, I was happy and I had not felt that way for a long time. Whenever I have fears, I have that feather in my wallet as a reminder that he is listening and that it is in his hands.

It was the perfect sign.

Dave

i found a lump on my right breast one month ago,i have atypical ductal hyperplasia cells, and have had 3 benign breast lumps removed in the past, this one is my 4th one. anyway i was due for my yearly mammogram so i went in and got it and they also wanted me to have a diagnostic ultrasound. about 3 days later my doctor calls me and says to come see her and don’t wait,so i go and see her and she examines me and see’s that i also have big swelling above my collar bone, and she tells me my results were bad. she told me i needed to be scared cause she was,she also said she is very worried, she went on to say she knows this breast lump is not an infection or a cyst. and set me up for a biopsy to confirm. i know i should have right out and asked her was she saying i got cancer but i did’nt i was too shocked i guess for her telling me to be scared. so i would like to get others input on this,,,, my question is this,,,was i practically given a cancer diagnosis? does she believe i have breast cancer? and if so how can she know for sure before a biopsy test is done?
as i stated i found a lump, and the doctor felt it also,, she just said she knows its not a cyst or infection, also the mammogram, the ultrasound came back bad,,so i was wondering can ultrasounds see cancer cells i know they can lumps but what about cancer cells can they detect those as well? also my lump is fixed in my breast, size of a dime

Mid last year my uncle-39 years old, East Asian descent, was diagnosis with lymphoma. I’m not to sure what kind or what stage he is currently in, but I’m thinking NHL (i dont know why) but doctors said it formed from his back and it’s constantly moving around inside his body. But he doesn’t have much to go on any more already due to the cancer has spread everywhere. He has only been treated with chemo therapy. My question is was there anything else or anything that could’ve been done to prevent or at least a way he could have survive longer because I don’t know if I believe his doctors did everything they could have? Esp, if there’s other cures or non-modern medical treatments. And you can’t trust one doctor to know everything.

SERIOUS REPLIES ONLY PLEASE I’ve had so many people telling me things that lead to nowhere so if anyone who has knowledge/experience in this area please help. Thank You.

I just signed up for and recieved med. insurance one week ago. I am very concerned because just this week I found a lump and enlarging of one testicle. After researching, cancer is a strong possiblity. My question is, since I have only been covered for 1 week will the insurance co. cover this or, even though never diagnosed, will this fall into pre existing condition category? Should I wait for a while before going to the doctor, or am I safe to go ASAP?

Okay go be a republican , but if I ever hear you cry about your insurance won’t cover this or that, i will find you and kick you in the junk.
One time I got an MRI for a hurniated disc, insurance refused to pay, they said pre-existing condition, Ihad to prove to them, that I had never seen a doctor for my problem ever, the burden fell on me to prove it, Insurance companies are crook and that is who republicans are fighting for CROOKS!!!!!!!

I’ve just been diagnosed with a blood disorder and am being referred to a hemotology oncologist. They haven’t given me a specific diagnosis at this moment, but as soon as I go into the oncologist, I’ll be given one. Besides being a little scared out of my mind, I want to do the careful thing here with health insurance. My husband was laid off and our insurance will expire in March.

Should I get a back-up policy NOW or will it be useless? I don’t want to bankrupt my family and want to take careful steps during this time. Any advice is appreciated.
A humble thank you to all my friends – you’ve given me encouragement and very good advice.

Sometimes the most complex challenges require the simplest of solutions… That being said, I would like to know from our community, if Dr. Gerson’s diet has worked for you? If you were able to cure your cancer this way. Did it ever come back?
Truly amazing responses! I did a little research and came across a documentary called, "The Beautiful Truth" it was listed in my Netflix, and all I can say is wow! There is some compelling information that should not be ignored. My Grandpa should be alive today. Cancer took him, and I am determined to not let it happen again to my Mom. She has had 2 cases of breast cancer (both caught very early), a hysterectomy due to forming cancer cells, and a polyp during a routine colonoscopy. After first hearing of the Gerson diet I was curious to see if this could help prevent further recurrances or help treat any future threat.

This is really fascinating stuff and seems to offer enough hope tthat if I ever have to face cancer in the eye I would surely give it a try. If anything I could only hope this thread will build and continue to be active. Who knows this info could save a life…

Thank you for sharing your personal experiences. Stay strong!
No simple solutions??? Are you serious? Give you 1? I could start a whole new thread on simple solutions to complex issues. I think you would be surprised.

Also, making a statement that these are conspiracy threories when there are actual people out there that had cancer and then they didn’t after trying Gerson’s method. To dismiss this entirely reminds me of a time in our history I learned about in school. During this time, people believed that the Earth was flat and the Sun revolved around the Earth. Lets hope you are not making a similar mistake…

Last does this also mean that you would not try Gerson’s method if you had no other options than to die?
"Some will say that is not true and that genetics plays a huge roll, but realize that something has to turn that gene on and you are in more control of your genes than you realize in many ways."

This is so very true and makes absolute sense… I too have heard about the advances in genetics we are just starting to uncover. There is not a shadow of doubt in my mind that YOU can activate and deactivate genes. I have heard there is a lot of compelling evidence to support this and seen it in health news. The public knows little about this too. And going back to my statement about "simple solutions…" Isn’t it ironic how simple it is to activate or deactivate genes? We could have spent millions and probably have) trying to activate genes artificially when the simple solution in some cases is diet… Go figure..

Assume that the diet consists of local raw vegetables and whole foods that large corporations could not easily profit from.

If the treatment was in the form of a very profitable drug, would the media report this?
As an added note Professor Emeritus from Cornell University published a book called the "China Study" that summarized his nutritional research work over three decades. His NIS grants showed a strong correlation between animal protein consumption and cancers (breast and prostate).

If we ate a pure vegetarian (vegan) diet, we could eliminate more than 80% of the cancers in this country.

It appears that mass media in the US has pretty much ignored this result and continue to recommend a breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon.

Btw, my prognosis is good, the tumor has shrunk significantly.
I am wondering if any cancer survivors have had this issue – the not producing estrogen issue – dealt with by an alternative to the pill. I was told that if I didn’t produce enough estrogen I’d be at increased risk for osteoporosis at a young age, and other problems associated with not having enough estrogen. Estrogen replacement is also risky, so my doctor didn’t want to put me on that.

Please let me know what any of you have discovered. I want to go off the pill entirely but am worried about the risks of not enough estrogen – which makes my periods all wonky. Obviously I’ll talk to my doctor about this first, but any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,
