If person diagnosed with inoperable advance stomach cancer in November 2007 and hasn’t had treatment?

how long could he survive? Cancer supposedly in kidneys and lower intestines also. I suspect the person is not being truthful.

Wow,this brings back memories of my cousin who didn’t last very long with this type of cancer. From the time he told us about it, within a year’s time he was gone. I don’t know how long he’d known about it before he finally told the rest of the family so it is hard to say how long he survived precisely. However, it the person has this illness they are usually terminal, sorry to say.

My husbands grandmother was diagnosed 2 years ago with stage 4 colon cancer (stage 4 is the worst stage). She had surgery and treatment, but they Dr. gave her at best – 18months. She has passed that now and is doing great – she does still have some inoperable tumors, but the chemo shrunk them a bit. So for now she is ok – hanging in there.
She did look into ‘no treatment’ as she did not know if she wanted to deal with all of the side effects and the Dr. told her that she’d be looking at 6mo with no treatment.
Good luck.

It really depends on a lot of factors: how aggressive the cells are, how the body’s immune system is fighting it off, and even what kind of nutrition the person is getting.
