i think homicide.. my mom died of a cervix cancer last 2005 and it’s hard but it’s not as hard feeling to those killed by homicide because unlike cancer, you are already aware and prepared about what’s gonna happen.

The shock of homicide would be worse. If someone is terminally ill, people have more time to prepare for the final days. I hope you are doing OK. Take Care.

If you mean harder as in "more rare", then I would say homicide.
If you mean harder as in "emotionally able to handle the situation" then would still say homicide. I would think homicide would be a horrible thing to accept and haunting for a long time. At least a terminal cancer is something that you can say no other human being had control over.

I’d say homocide would be harder to handle, at least with a terminal illness you know its going to happen and can sort out your family, will etc and do some of the things you love before youi die. thats how i see it anyway

if u mean harder as in more/less likely to happen i’d say more people are diagnosed with cancer than homicde

I lost my mom to cancer, and I can guarantee it would have been way harder if it were a homicide because I think I lost her in the most gentle way I could. I knew that she was going to go, that there was nothing anyone could have done, and I had time to prepare for the loss. If she’d died suddenly at someone’s hands, it would have been much harder to accept because of the lack of closure and the anger I’d feel at the perpetrator.

Sorry I beg to differ. For homicide, yes, it’ll be traumatic to the love ones as it is unexpected.

However, if we see it in the victim’s perspective, in homicide, he/she did not have to suffer a long painful death as in the case of terminal cancer. In terminal cancer, the person had to endure months or even years of suffering in pain waiting for the end to come.

So, I feel it all depends on whose perspective do you want to analyse between the two.

Just my differing opinion. No offence intended,
    Depwill
