Women’s Health and Cancer Rights Act, Is there a list of items that must be covered by Insurance?

My mother’s insurance told her that she can only have one Breast prostheses every 3 years, But now we know that she can have one once a year under the Women’s Health and Cancer Rights Act, My question is, are there any other items other then reconstructive surgery that is covered under this Act? Items like the special bras for the prostheses or a swimsuit? Does anyone know where I can find an exact list of what is covered?

    Yes, reconstructive surgery must be covered as well.

    HOWEVER, there is an exception and the exception is HUGE. Your mother must be covered through a group insurance plan, like one you would get through work. If she’s covered by an individual plan, the Women’s Health and Cancer Rights Act doesn’t apply to her insurance.
